Ad Nauseam Ad Nauseam
"Ad Nauseam Ad Nauseam is an exhibition about light, photography, and mediation. Comprised of seven lo-fi installations, complex ideas are presented using analog elements such as slide projectors, lightbulbs, and switches. The subject matter is the very technology and electricity used to create these installations, a self-referential comment on the essential qualities and expectations of sources of illumination. Two of the works present stereoscopic 3D illusions, surprising the eyes and mind while creating an immersive environment that begs to be rationalized. The paradoxical works in Ad Nauseam Ad Nauseam elegantly use anachronistic equipment to challenge our assumptions about luminance while creating simple yet confounding experiences."
